Red barn greets the sky - oil miniature by Gretchen Kelly

I made a some little tiles to paint on and experiment with by covering cardboard with gauze and gesso. I like the the texture and the size which forces me to work with it. My aim is to make ongoing series in this format that hold together as a large group. This one is in the local Hudson Valley. I like the sunlit foreground and how the red barn peeks out to be seen.
