This is the beginning of a series based on vintage photos that I will be showing in Rowayton, Ct.  in December at Brendan's 101. I have a love of old photos and have wanted to do paintings based on photos that have been circulating in Rowayton for years. This photo in particular is my favorite because it's so whimsical- the old man doing a headstand and the kitty running up to him!
